Without music it would be a desolate planet...

About Me

25-year-old Tim has been writing songs for some four years. Originally a bass player for local Guildford band 'Drunken Monkey', he cut his guitar-playing teeth whilst travelling around Australia for 10-and-a-half months. After this he moved to Austria and began to gig solo at a local pub once a week. It was here that he was spotted by local guitarist Tom Mahone, with whom he formed a band, 'TnT', who built a fantastic reputation in the town of Baden and performed at venues all across Austria including Vienna.
Tim is currently working on his debut album with experienced producer and musician Zil Wilbermann, who has worked with such diverse talents as opera-singer Jonathan Veira and drummer Bill Bruford. Zil is a highly skilled pianist, and is also incredibly gifted with many other instruments including drums, bass and throwing strops if he doesnt like the outcome of a days work... Once the album, or at the very least an introductory EP is complete, Tim will be playing live at various venues across Surrey and Hampshire. Dates to follow soon...

Influences: Household names like Ray Charles, Guns n Roses, Queen, Red Hot Chilli Peppers and the Beatles feature prominently as influences for Tim's music, whilst the Grand Master of Rock'N'Roll, Elvis Presley has also had a huge influence on him as a performer. Other influences are Jeff Buckley, India Arie, Susan Tadeschi, and Tracy Chapman.Zil is mainly influenced by a pretty face and a pint of the strongest Amé, however Tim found that a loaded Magnum 44 also does the trick...I would also like to add a big thankyou to Dr Zoidberg, (Futurama) I feel he has been a great influence on Zil and myself... whether or not on the music i dont know!!!
Sounds Like: Edited by Zil

"Plea" is a moving ballad with throbbing Gospel organ and an interminable Wilbermann piano solo at the end (look, if Pink Floyd or Dire Straits can go on and on with guitars, I can do it on the piano, OK?)

"Hand-me-down" is well reggae. Yes, I know white middle-class people from Guildford shouldn't do reggae, and I really didn't want to go down that particular road, but that's what ended up sounding best. So am I bovvered?

"Choice" has no clear identity other than a vague Steely Dan-ness, so listen to it and form your own opinion, dammit!!
