Feature film professional. Usually found behind the camera. Finally wrapped work on Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, over at George Lucas' Industrial Light and Magic (the company responsible for everything from Star Wars to Transformers, Jurassic Park and Pirates of the Caribbean) where we were also doing Iron Man, the new Star Trek, Harry Potter 6, Speed Racer and The Happening. It was great to finally work at a company that I've wanted to work at since I was about 4 years old and really the top film fx company in the world. I'm back in the UK now though.

Born and raised in Bournemouth, now living and working in Soho in feature film in visual effects as an FX Technical Director/FX Lead and done some VFX supervising on some smaller shows. Technically I'm also become a motion capture performer/stunt man for the 2nd Narnia film, Prince Caspian.

In the past I've done a bunch of films you've probably heard of. Now wrapped on 10,000 B.C. which is out now. X-Men 3: The Last Stand and Danny Boyle's Sunshine, Harry Potter 1 and 3, James Bond: Die Another Day and a load more. And I turned down a job on Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince to go work on Indiana Jones. In the past I've worked for Jim Henson's Creature Shop, The Moving Picture Company, Double Negative, Cinesite (Europe), FinishTV (Littlewoods commercial) and Supernatural.

I love watching, training and competing in mixed martial arts (aka Cage Fighting). I fight at welterweight. My team is London Shootfighters, the top fight team in the UK http://www.londonshootfighters.com/

My boxing/thai boxing coaches are Andy Zajac and Dave Epstein, brother of Mark "The Beast" Epstein. Outside of work, I basically live in the gym. I do general fitness and weight lifting at my local Fitness First 3-4 days a week and fight train 3-4 times a week. Sometimes training up to twice a day.

I'm also towards the end of a PhD in Continuum Mechanics at Imperial College, London where I got my masters (MEng) a few years back.

I ride a 2003 Kawasaki ZX6R (636cc) Ninja motorbike. Pics of it in my pics section. It's loud and fast and I fucking love it. Alas, I crashed hard in Summer 2007 and folded the bike in half but have since fixed it and it's nearly ready to get back on the road.

I'm really into art and photography, both observing and doing. Working in film goes hand in hand with stills photography. I am currently writing some shorts and feature length films that I'm looking to produce and direct end of 2008. Actors and actresses and crew take note...

I love sushi and Japanese (and proper chinese) food. And could eat it every day. Sushi is the best and I can eat vast quantities of it.

The following is a selection of some of my work and some personal work I did many years ago... But check my albums for some crazy photos of my history. See if you can spot a pair of real hoverboards!!

My Interests

Film, photography, writing, mma/vale tudo/cage fighting, brazilian jiu jitsu, freestyle and greco wrestling, boxing, thai boxing, weightlifting

I'd like to meet:

Actors and actresses, musicians, cinematographers, directors, producers, gaffers, sound engineers, artists, set designers, make up artists, costume designers. Anyone who isn't up their own ass. Unfortunately there's a lot of people here that are. If you are, kindly jog on.Anyone who wants or needs my services - please note I am a professional with over 10 years of experience in film making, graphic work, design and being behind a camera. I still occasionally do freebies because in actual fact, that's a professional thing to do - I've helped people out in my spare time between major jobs as it keeps me creative and able to experiment with new methods and techniques. Through doing this, I have met many talented individuals who have gone on to do bigger things, some of whom are now very much in the public light. I know I can call on them when I need something done. So anyone who turns their nose up to work just because it's unpaid/expenses only... well, that's your loss and I DON'T want to meet/work with you, but good luck.Equally people who request information and then when they receive it haven't got the god-damn common courtesy to appreciate it. Hell I'd offer you a reach around...
