About Me

I was born in 1965 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada to the son of Scandinavian immigrants. My parents were a foster family to special needs children (native Indian, handicapped, etc.). My mother was an Artisan and great inspiration to me. I studied fine art and theatre in high school before travelling to Europe and Asia. Upon returning to Canada I completed a University degree in Fine Arts. It was during this time I became interested in Rock Art. Both the petroglyphs/pictographs of my brothers and sisters - native roots and the "helleristninger" and rune stones of my own ancestry.I re-immigrated to Denmark in 1991, where I pursued a career as a Graphic Artist and Medical Illustrator, before meeting Erik Reime. My understanding of body musculature and love of rock art, fit well with Erik's artistic direction as a tattooist, and I was quickly taken on as an apprentice at Kunsten på Kroppen - where I continue to work. If you want to check out our homepage it's easy to remember...www.tattoo.dk I have two daughters, two Nortons and two dogs in urns
