I have been tattooing since 1993 and am now based at Mantra Tattoo studio working with the wonderful Mark Moore,Paul Scarrott and Darryll Richards. Prior to this I was based in Edinburgh for 9 years co-running the studio Tribal Body Art. I have also worked at Belfast City Skinworks and was in Denmark for 2 years working with the great Erik Reime at Kunsten Pa Kroppen. Erik probably had the greatest influence on my tattooing style.I love to work in a grey shading stippled style combing Celtic/Nordic/Saxon with other traditional styles. I do also love to work in realistic styles doing portraits/wildlife etc. and like to do bold colour stuff too.I like to create personal one off tattoos where I can. I would like to be able to turn my hand to pretty much any style that is thrown at me rather than working in any particular narrow field.(Any style apart from bio mecanical,which I loathe doing-ask Darryll instead!) When not tattooing I can be found at New Model Army gigs having a rare old time. I have followed them since 1991 (after first seeing them in 1989) and they haven't yet asked me to stop or taken out an injunction. I get less time to see them now but at least I no longer have to hitch hike! I am married to James and we have a beautiful daughter named Willow.
