About Me
At 6 foot 6, 265 pounds and a veteran of the business for over 20 years, John Compton began his career in 1987 with CMC International's recording artists, Talon. He has performed in venues all over the world with industry powerhouses such as Quiot Riot, Motley Crue, Night Ranger, Eddie Money, and The Goo Goo Dolls. Broading his horizons in the mid-90's, John had a lifelong infatuation with live theatre which led to scoring music and writing scripts for many shows such as "Medieval Times," and Passion Roxx: Lipstick and leather, about the trials and tribulations of a 80's rock band. Covering the publishing side of things, John has also represented Grammy award winning songwriters for placements on various projects for such artists as John Michael Montgomery, All for One, Faith Hill, Travis Tritt, Earth Wind and Fire, Lorrie Morgan, Reverend Run, and Anita Baker to name a few. With music his main priority, John has recently been producing projects in Nashville with Perry Richardson, (formerly of Firehouse,), Mike Rogers (Craig Morgan) and in New York with Andrew Fellus (Ray Charles-"Genius Loves Company").
