A look inside the business of Hollywood and what it takes to be a success in the heart of one of the toughest and most competitive industries in the world. My Interests

Theatre, Powerboats, Cars, Music

I'd like to meet:

The videos on this site are just a sample of the productions that I've been part of. I'm an actor, producer, presenter, editor, director and webmaster.

My showreel is included above if you are an agent or director looking for a Scots actor (theatre, tv, film, commercials).

If you are interested in theatre, film, standup or gigs in the UK and the US then I run a network with like minded people. The online resources I setup in 2001 are to support talented people including actors, producers, filmmakers, comedians and musicians who want to tell audiences more about their work.

The network is supported by around 10,000 people in the industry and is fast becoming one of the most influential networks in the UK and growing in the USA. Those who have registered include members of BAFTA, The Academy (Oscars), BECTU (Broadcasting) and actors unions Equity and SAG as well as several hundred members of the press. So it's an ideal platform to promote your work, or to find out more about performances on stage and screen where you are.

To get a free weekly newsletter and find out more, send a blank email to [email protected] - you will also get some automated information emails to tell you more.

Many thanks for visiting today, have a look around and come back again soon.

Television:

I often watch TV to chill out and have a laugh at the world. I am also intrigued about the rise of Reality TV. These programmes challenge you about your own attitudes and opinions and of those around you, and that can only be a good thing. Having developed as an actor as a second career, I can also appreciate the trials and tribulations of those going through audition processes. Once you toughen up it gets easier but there are many who are unprepared for the emotional rollercoaster of their first auditions.

Reality Talent Shows: X-Factor, American Idol

Reality People Watching: Big Brother

Reality Business: The Apprentice, Dragons Den, Fortune.

Brain-dead quiz shows: Deal Or No Deal, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.
