It is time for a taste of honey.Nicole Graham is an independent recording/performing artist and songwriter bridging the gap between underground and mainstream dance music. In addition to writing and releasing song collaborations in electronica, house and jazz, she has also worked on projects, featuring hybrid musical styles, such as electronic jazz and breakbeat soul. As a songwriter, Nicole has the ability to creatively adapt her melodies to many different musical arrangements. It is, in fact, this aspect of songwriting that she finds most attractive.Nicole Graham is also an accomplished professional dancer and has performed in many international cabarets, the most well known being the Moulin Rouge® in Paris, France, where her talent earned her the distinction of being the first ever African-American female dancer and can-can soloist hired by the cabaret in it's entire history.In her first three years on the underground music scene, Nicole was a featured artist on eleven 12" vinyls, including projects with well known DJ/Producers (Llorca, Playin' For The City, Harley and Muscle) and labels such as Ovum, Kif and F Communications. These songs eventually appeared on many international dance music compilations such as A Night At The Playboy Mansion mixed by Dimitri From Paris, Respect Is Burning, Vol. 2 (Labels/Virgin, France) and other compilations with labels and record companies such as Defected Records and Universal Music. These songs continue to be heard on Parisian and international radio stations and to appear on current compilations, today. To date, 18 original and more than 30 remixed versions of Nicole Graham's work have been released.
