I started Burning Hearts Burlesque in August of 2002 with the help of my friend Timmi Harrop; we put an ad in the Stranger and auditioned performers for the show. The Bedroom Club, Seattle’s Original Weekly Burlesque, Comedy, Music, & Variety Show will celebrate its grand re-opening in Pioneer Square at The Last Supper Club on Wednesday, October 25th, 2006 at 9:00pm. The show will run every Wednesday (except November 22nd)
Burning Hearts Burlesque presents The Bedroom Club first appeared as the Thursday night must-see burlesque show at the Fenix Underground, and now is returning to historic Pioneer Square at a brand new location, The Last Supper Club, located at 124 S Washington St., Seattle. Already famous for bringing top-talent DJ’s in to spin and kick up a fuss on the dance floor, The Last Supper Club is the proud new home of The Bedroom Club, one of the top burlesque and variety shows in Seattle.
After a successful summer run at the Northwest Actor’s Studio, The Bedroom Club has outgrown the incredibly-cool-but-slightly-cozy theater space and is ready to burst back into the nightlife mainstream. “Seattle’s First and Only Dessert Theater” is now expanding and adding dinner to the menu!
And what a menu! The Bedroom Club is pleased to announce “Dinner in Bed,” our new Aphrodisiac Dinner Menu! We bring in our most passionate chefs creating the most passionate dinner dishes just for you each week from 8:00pm – 10:00pm. You will be given privileged seating for the Burlesque show when you start with dinner and stay for the performance. You don’t have to have dinner to enjoy the show, but of course, we recommend it! Complementary dessert will be offered during intermission to all patrons of the show. For those who choose to skip dinner and only wish to see the Burlesque performance, velvet couches will be available as well as table seating on a first-come, first served basis.

Each and every Wednesday, the line-up is dazzling! Seattle is one of the Burlesque world’s hottest scenes and is home to many nationally recognized talents. Thrill to the vocal stylings and humorous observations of The Bedroom Club’s Warholesque Drag Superstar and Hostess, Miss Anita Goodman, as she introduces amazing, original burlesque artists The Shanghai Pearl, Goody Goody, Fuschia Foxx, Trixi Devereaux, Femnomena, Lolita L’ Amour, Trixie Von Mothersbaugh, and Identical Singing Burlesque Cuties The Titillation Twins, along with guest performers Jacqueline Hyde (of Tempest Burlesque), The Heavenly Spies, and many more! In the true vaudeville spirit each week has surprises galore—guest musicians, clowns, sideshow performers and boylesque along with a free-wheeling love-vibe that makes it so anything can happen!After the show, stay for our weekly dance floor Pajama Party featuring DJ Shifty Sands & Guest DJs from 11:30pm – close.
The Bedroom Club is our own version of Dinner Theater (where we serve up the free dessert). Once you’ve entered you’ll feel like you have been transported to a decedent world where you’ll discover we’re having a party in a sexy ladies’ boudoir! Discover our intoxicating mix of food, entertainment and alcohol, then you’ll be served dessert by the lovely Burning Hearts Stage Kittens!!
The Bedroom Club began on April 7th of 2005 on the lower level of the Fenix Underground and was heralded for its winning combination of frivolous, sexy adult-themed fun. Soon it became the place to bring a date and let off some steam in a healthy and exciting way on a Thursday night. The show quickly moved upstairs and began bringing in hundreds of enthusiastic burlesque fans and curious bystanders, all of whom were won over and added to the growing coterie of Seattle burlesque enthusiasts.
Producer Cleo Petra has a natural skill at spotting burlesque talent, producing hundreds of shows since 2002, including five full one-hour performances for the Seattle Erotic Arts Festival in 2004. “It has not always been easy to keep the flame going through my career,” says Petra, “but there are so many talented people popping up everywhere and I want to give them the chance to experience the joy of performing at The Bedroom Club. The performers, the fans, and I all want to see the show flourish for years to come.”
On the move, Petra says “We will be featuring ‘Dinner in Bed’ before and during The Bedroom Club shows at our new location at The Last Supper Club, something we could never do before. We loved our previous home at the Northwest Actor’s Studio. It has been a great intimate spot and we had some of the best shows of our existence in that space -- we have just outgrown the room. I think we will have fond memories of those crazy nights at the Actor’s Studio, but are very excited to make this move to the beautifully designed Pioneer Square mainstay The Last Supper Club”
