About Me

Welcome to the Montrose Saloon. We are tavern located at 2933 W Montrose Ave. on the northside of Chicago. We have been doing business in the area for over 100 years. Originally a last stop on the horse racing circut, we were the saloon that you stopped at before and after the old farmers in the area raced their horses in what's now known as the property of Ravenswood. Boy we've come a long way...and if our walls could talk! So here we are...jump to 2006--we are in a progressively changing neighborhood just north of Roscoe Village. We offer service with a smile, great drinks, live music, killer jukebox ranging from ABBA to ZAPPA. Open mics, BLUEGRASS JAM every 2nd Wed. of the month, Fundraiser events and so much more. Our hours are Mon-Thurs. 2pm-2am/ Fri noon-2am/ Sat noon-3am/and Sun noon-2am. Stop in if you're in the neighborhood, and heck, even if you're not, make the excursion. Looking forward to seeing you!
