About Me

I BELIEVE IN valentines day, the puerto rican day parade and the power of the sun. its winter in ny. but it ain't cold, cuz a lotta people be makin fire right now.here's my myspace pitch: i party and build in places like the bruckner bar and sin sin, i think i'm in love with just about all the people who make throw astersisk parties.i love style and hate name brands. i like to weari'd go to florida, but i'd rather meet you in san augustinillo, or somewhere off the map.I feel rude talking about just me too much right now, cuz I still keep bumpin' into superheroes of the musical sort and I feel humbled havin' my sneakers in thier soil. If I talk "about me", I'll miss the drum beats still comin out of Spanish Harlem, Brooklyn, Philly . . SOUTH BRONX If you're readin this- u know. Peace East Coast, Hold it down. Don't let the rich people win. Don't let your friends become cops. There's a lot of crap out there, thank goodness for art, music, comedy, kids and people who can tell great stories.

My Interests

changing the world through art and grassroots revolution, theater, storytellin', poetry, traveling to warmer places, igniting young and old minds (and my mind), and dancin' on rooftops of course

I'd like to meet:

Everyone who is down with lifting each other up. WANTED: Right now I'm workin on a project and I'm lookin' for a few good b-boy, b-girl choreographers, female spoken word poets and emcees from the bronx, a lawyer who would like to look over a grant to help local artists and public school teachers create tracks and videos together and an accountant who loves to crunch numbers for kids and Hip-Hop.In general, I love to meet people who laugh while they hustle for the better things in life, like creative expressive collaboration and sweaty dance floors with live drums. and if ya got a rooftop, I got a dance team!

Music:

Yours, mine, ours . . .but i hate all g-unit, dip set and whoever wrote that dumb song about gettin' some head. i do like my concious brothers and sisters, such as j-live, talib, blackilicious, and then i like my friends' music- who I will plug right here: Miss ANGELINA, Bisc 1, Mariela, Tah phrum duh Bush, Illspokinn, undakova, As a recent addition to the independent hip-hop scene in ny, i am still meeting and hearing new amazing music every day. I knew it was out there some where, It just had to start with sin-sin. This Hip-Hop stuff I can dance to and my mind's fed at the same time. You all are really doing your thing, its incredible out here. Who else . . . I grew up on really good rock and roll thanks to my pops so on the road trip you know I'm scoopin' up Led Zep. Allman Brothers, I love soul, I got down with some good house at the end of Highschool, any thing from Brasil pretty much melts my heart and oooh yeah, I'm a suckah for reggaeton (yeah i know it's not the most conscious but ya gotta love the enthusiasm) Friki, Friki, Friki, Frik Friki, Frik, Frikitona dale Frikitona!
