I've been doing this along time. I cant pinpoint an exact amount of years but my first memory with me trying to write i was 7 or 8. I cant remember what i wrote but i know it was about cartoons. Another memory i have was when i was in 5th grade and my class had to do speech about whatever book we read, instead me and my hommies Sal aka Whitey Bronson, Ronald ( r.i.p.), and Johnny did a hip hop song about aids. Shit was hysterical looking back because this was around the mc hammer era when rappers use to dance so we even had some dance moves to go with the performance... hahaha.... i still remember the hook "aids goes around aids goes around aids goes around like a merry go round". Anyway you get the point. In my career ive had many influences, but the biggest is my older brother, i use to come home from school and listen to all his vinly records when he wasnt there and thats when i fell in love. I would see him writting and spitting his verses and that made me want to do it to. Through out the years i've been in and out with this rap shit, it was always a hobby but i never took it 100% serious to my fullest capabilities until now. shout out to my hommie Jah who taught me how to count bars and structure a song. As far as putting out projects i did awhole album with my homie Al Dirty which was an ill experience because we both shared the love of music together and learned how to make songs that would form into an album. I was in a group called Nsnation, which never put out anything but we had so much material we just did shows all over the city in some of the most well known venues. Through Nsnation i learned to get my stage presence right, how to control the crowd and keep em going. I was also in another group called past-n-present which we put out a mix cd's and hit up venues all over the city. I've hit up open mics all over the city spitting so im an mc by all means but i also know how to make songs'. Although i've been in several groups and learned alot from each and every one of them, i feel like i've held back from doing me and broadcasting to the world what i can do. I've never had a solo project, and now is the perfect time to hit em since my city who is the founder of hip hop is losing its credibility. I feel like i should do my part in bringing the focus back on N.Y.C. where some of the illest rappers of my generation are from. Right now im working on my solo album with the Beat Brewers who i've been fucking with for years........... They got the beats, i got the heat and the swag so i promise you when i drop you will hear me.... Im a do it big so keep an eye and an ear out for me.....mad love to all my fans who've been patiently waiting for me to drop ya'll give me inspiartion to continue doing this rap shit........... hollablack
