Existing in the mind, but below the surface or threshold of consciousness; that is, existing as feeling rather than as clear ideas....................................................... ................Greetings fellow music lovers, A North Londoner born and bred and fortunate to grow up in the 70's/80's thus experiencing the cream of music/lifestyle!!! My household consisted of a mixture of the current pop of the time (Marc Bolan, David Bowie and later on Punk, Two Tone and Soul) Before I discovered my direction of Electro, Hip Hop funk etc....Various projects include collaborations/projects with Peter Maas (Freeez) Sir Jinx and Dakota Phillips, Psychopaths (now known as Eshe) DJ Nuke, Million Dan and Carlene Graham. Musical influences range from Hip Hop, all genres of funk, soul and anything else that hits the mark. If you can relate to memories of run outs till it got dark (it was all good - it was safe back then!) '77 Jubilee street parties, Sesame Street (all I have to say is Pinball!) Grifters/Choppers, Atari, Battle Of The Planets, Star Wars, Discovering Electro, Hip Hop movement, Mike Allen, Ultra Magnetic MC's original Uk Hip Hop (Demon Boyz, Hijack, London Posse.....) The Rare Groove Scene of the late 80s (Thanks Norman Jay/Gilles Peterson!) which for many revived the break beat!, warehouse jams, funk soul, P-funk, Go Go, and any thing that sounded fresh - right up to today (future soul/Jazz, REAL Hip Hop, Broken Beat) then u know where Im coming from !!!!You can currently catch me DJ ing with the Crates fam.
