Cheeko Phil, mnnh Once upon a time there was a Cheeko mc of the Family Quest ,some 'folks' also called Cheeks Le Virg. Cheeko mouse,MC cheeko and more, they even called me 3.30 and 5 in the morning ,so there is abit of a history .(By the way the tracks that are up on this myspace page are very early material but i had to put something on at the time when i registerd and some of you peeps like it so i've not taken it off, i'll open another site with more up to date music) Anyway where were we .Reggae and lovers rock sound systems jazz rock and punk dub groups were the order in those dazes ,then there was a surge of energy from across the divide and before you could say supercalafragilisticespealadoshus one of my bothers started walking up and down the streets of Islington with a piece of lino putting it down where he sawh fit and started diving on this thing that in those days were meant for kitchens and bathrooms but he began spinning on his head and wrists on the thing, i thought cool,i'm on that and after a few head aches and the loss of a contact lens or two i belive and still do that click and snaping your fingers to as much of a beat or rythm that be far safer and much easier hence i evolved into the electro scene doing what is now called rapping, and getting paid for it (some people ay) but anyway i was taken seriously so i wrote seriously,then the whole thing turned into hip hop and crews and things and everything looked rosey ,there was E-mix,Mystery and Dirty Harry a man from down under called Stu and lots of other lovely and wacky and far out people,to do a role call would take to long,but i will anounce several for now though,Damaged youth,Tony B and family,Karl fingers,Dazzle D,VictorVader,Mama Shelly,Jahfrica SammyDread and family, BriggyTwiny and brother Peter,Jimmy B,Sgnt Rock,and all the uk and Hip Hop and House familys, ALOT AY, anyways milk this, then a few years on from this and doing so so like most of us guys back then , i gets nabbed by a lovley female at a Soul to Soul gig in North London then i've morphed into a farther and had now changed my profesion and became a cook and this went on for qiute a few years ,now i can cook, mnnh . I started working as a session vocalist and music programer because i was getting bored but also because people liked what i was doing and i was getting some pocket money for it now and again, so yep i decided to create a second life and with my savings from the work i was doing got into building my own studio , nothing spectacular just a home but it works ,and in this time i had met up with more diverse folk and had joined them on a sound system crusade around London and parts of England (oh by the way a i do love a french audience most non English speaking in fact ,they enjoy you and they do not understand half the things that you are saying) so this was Magma sound corp which later became Japunx which whatever it is now , i also linked up with Rushin' recordSs and had a few single releases with them (did i mention releases with the Family Quest on Jungle and Epic records also Street Sounds) , i'm off again they're here some where,i can feel em ,
