There is a curve called failure. A loop called confusion, speed bumps called friends, red lights called enemies, caution lights called family. You will have flat tyres called jobs, but if u have a spare called determination and engine called perseverance, insurance called faith, a driver called Jesus, you will make it to a place called SUCCESS.Lady M&M absolutely eats, breathes music. Lady M&M has been collecting vinyl since the age of 8, collecting from a wide range of music genre's which consisted of Rare Groove classics, Reggae and Hip Hop "I remember my very first experience on radio, I was asked by Capital Radio's Gary Crowley at the tender age of 12 to interview one of my favourite pop bands @ the tiime who were 'Matt Bianco'. It was not only a nerve racking & beautiful experience, but looking back now, the seed was already planted and my journey and interest in the media was growing all the time"DJ'n began in 1990 on Eurojam Radio. Lady M&M & DJ Rap based in North & East London who began to push Jungle & House big time. Lady M&M fondly remembers promoting Ragga Twins. "Hey Ragga Twins were doing it on the radio/club scene at the time"1990 Lady M&M originally played House, Jungle, Garage & Hip Hop & what she called Garage then is totally different to what she terms it now. She says " I wouldn't say the Garage music now has elevated itz just totally lost the plot. 2 grimy!! Shame really!!"Off the scene for a little. Lady M&M went on to focus on her 9-5 job, she never lost the hunger for music & grabbed the opportunity to present a show on House Fm first as a guest and then on to a prime time slot doing her "Funk'n House Of Order" Thang... then moved on to Sweet 89.4FM Wednesday's 6-8pm with her "Funk'n House Of Order Show" experience Lady M&M continued to shine in her mixing abilities"I was the only DJ presenting house flavas on SweetFM which gave me an opportunity to push the boundaries and broaden the minds of listeners who were already comfortable with the so called "Urban" R&B, HipHop, Reggae & Soul flava thang"Having been on SweetFM for a year and half an opportunity came along and was asked to Manage www.Phatbeats.net ...in studio 2, which launched March 2006. Studio 2 exclusively promotes all genres of House flavas...this has been an excellent opportunity for a new challenge which meant departing from SweetFMAt the same time an opportunity had arisen to be part of www.pushfm.com an internet radio station that pushes & promotes good quality flavas with a beautiful family of creative DJ's. "I feel honoured to be part of a station that has its finger on the pulse.I love flavas that have a punchy deep beat, i'm influenced by DJ's who are creative in their technical and mixing abilities such as the heavy weights Masters At Work & Ron TrentYou can find my show on www.Pushfm.com every Tuesday 2-4pm playing an eclectic mix of Soulful & Deep House flavasIn the meantime blends her skills as a DJ whilst also persuing her Degree @ University in Events, Media & Music Management.
