I've been djing for around 15 months and ive been playng out for about 8 months. I like to play 'wonky', jackin house with my main inspirations being the dirty bird crew, switch, jesse rose, jimpster, speaker junk, Eric Prydz, Nic Fanciulli and Danny Howells. I also have started two nights. Last October I launched jackin the box, when we hosted the official after party for Pete Tong @ med bar, it was a great success so look out for more one off parties this year and in March 2007 Habit was born. I teamed up with Steve Thornton from Tension/dex in the city and Andy Price from Staight up and our aim is to throw house style parties where its about having fun and not being there to be seen. Our Music policy is simple: anything goes as long as people dance, whether its house, breaks, indie, techno, disco or hip hop. We have a great venue in Moseley called the Bulls Head and we host the top room on the second friday of every month. with a few bigger one off parties planned throughout the year. At the end of last year i was named as the new resident for Tension :). I have been really lucky to have played for and alongside some great names including: Claude Vonstroke, Dex In The City, Circo Loco, Spectrum to nanme a few. Away from music, Ive got a wicked girlfriend in Gemma and some great friends. You can usually find me at Godskitchen where i promote, med bar and my favourite night Dex In The City. In the week i like doing the student thing so you can find me at Oceanna on a Wednesday!
