The birth of AnkH: Ciprian (guitar & vocals) -"I was in a bar with a good friend of mine, Mihai (drums), and after a few beers and a shot of whisky I started to talk about wanting to make a kick ass metal band and I asked him if he would like to join me. The guy had nothing to do with music so he started to look at me and say things like I THINK YOU DRANK TOO MUCH but then I told him that i know a guy who could give him some drum lessons and even get him a great deal on a drum set. Sitting at a near by table was another friend, Cezar (bass) who heard our discussion. I knew him for about 4 months but he never told me he played bass guitar until that day. One month later we began rehersing in a high school basement with a sign on the door saying THE IMMORTAL BAND OF ANKH...DO NOT DISTURB OR YOU'LL GET YOUR ASS KICKED!A few months later we decided it's time to go on stage and we earned the hate of almost all the other local bands (maybe because we rock more than they do).
