chainway

chainway is a five-piece mathcore band from south germany. they formed in 1996 as quartet, in the year 2000 dan joined the band taking over the bassguitar so markus can fully concentrate on his job on the mic. you really can't compare chainway's music with other bands but cornerstones are meshuggah, coalesce and botch. chainway released two demotapes and one demoalbum in that period all by themselves. they also played several shows in germany with bands like curlupanddie, nasum and japanische kampfhörspiele just to name a few. in 2006 they recorded seven new songs and two songs from the last demotape. this will be released in spring/summer of 2007 as full-length debut-album "lebenszeichen".
