Hmmm...Haven't had to write one of these in a long time! Erm, I'm a bass guitarist from sunny Surbiton, which is in SW London/Surrey. Spend most of my time now teaching from home or in Access to Music's Performing Musician course in Bristol.My main gig now is with function band Beneath The Covers, who I also MD for. My days with this lot are mainly spent feeling really fortunate to be involved with such a great group of guys (both musically and personally). Aside from them, it's all bits and pieces for various people...Last year saw me involved in one way or another with Chico, Bill Oddie and Shelley Preston from Bucks Fizz!Professionally, I've worked with a great rock band called Kyro (who I went to the States with as well as recorded with Greg Haver of Manics and Mel C fame), and in 2003 I won the award of 'Outstanding Bass Player of The Year 2003'. I'm a member of the regular faculty for the Bath International Guitar Festival, and for all you masochistic students out there I've contributed to Rockschool Bass Grade 6.
