About Me

Thom Kerr is one of Australia's newest, most refreshing fashion photographers. Working freelance between each of the great cities along the East Coast, Thom has developed a reputation as an exciting new talent. At present he contributes to several different publications in Australia, New Zealand and Europe. He is one of the directors of creative agency 'Rufio'. His business partner is acclaimed art director and stylist Claire Fitzsimmons - aka MsFitz. * * At present, Thom's work has graced the magazine pages of Black (NZ), Poster (Aus), Kurv. (Aus), Karen (NZ), M2 (NZ), Frankie (Aus), Fashion Journal (Aus), Attitude (Aus), UV (Aus), Lamono (Spain) & his favourite magazine in the whole wide world Duke(Aus)! * * Known for his quirky taste and sharp knowledge of fashion, Thom has injected a cinematic edge back into the Australian industry. Thom's models become characters in a story where fashion is only one part of the narrative. With his love of new ideas, and his exploration of the curious behaviour of human beings, his images capture beautiful moments in both the subjects and the garments. Thom loves working with people that challenge his ideas of conventional beauty. * * Working mostly in fashion and music editorial, Thom is a big fan of new artists. In fact, he's been trying to work up the courage to tell you that he's actually in love with you...If you're a talented artist doing some amazing work and nobodys taking you seriously, stop by and say hello.
