Hiya! I'm Rhys, a 26 year old Capricornian boy living in Melbourne. I'm originally from Adelaide and have lived here for six years. Im a performer. I dance, act sing and Im also a freelance make-up artist. I used to have a day job with MAC wich has given me a wealth of knowledge and experiance. I always loved the way makeup can transform a person. I have worked my brushes for photo, video, fashion and the occasional celeb. Makeup allows me to remain creative when Im not performing.Have been in the entertainment industry from a young age (thank you Johnny Young Talent school) and am envoled in childrens TV. I love being on stage/dance floor. I feel most aware of myself when im freestyling.(dance speak for unchoreographed movement)
I dance a couple of times a week in several nightclubs in melb or whenever the opportunity arises. I like to keep fit and flexible with regular dance classes, gymnastics and yoga.I love to be the centre of attention and it shows. I dress what most people would call "alternative" but i think of it as just being myself. I ache for fashion and the vanity it brings out in me and the reaction it gets from the general public... making me a little over aware of my suroundings. I'm no sheep, I dont wanna look like anyone else and why should I? You no how the song goes... "If everybody looked the same..."
Im usually in a full face of make-up if Im on the town, I dont have to, but I love upstaging the girls.Myspace has allowed me to Make some amazing friends and contacts but also helped to communicate with some old mates.
I hope to share my talents for all its worth. I feel proud that Ive been able to do so much the time ive been alive but still much i wanna do... teach, act, write/produce music, musical theatre, dance theatre, concept direct & produce music video, record, model, design, photography... anything fabulous and creative. I also love a challenge and often end up with too much on my plate but I'm not broken yet.
Aside all that I'm keen on rollerblading (only mode of transport) and love swimming, the beach, the sun... all the things you cant do in winter.
