arts- photography - film - directionI like to drink beer and dance about like a clown....I like to tell really bad jokes....sometimes I stress out about nothing but I think its a blessing,I mean if I never stressed out about the nitty gritty, I would never try to get good at anything.I give as much as i take (no pun intended).....I love beautiful people and if I could, I would collect them like postage stamps...respect and social justice is very important to me...people who meet me half way are the sort of people I love to surround myself with. I'm a hard worker.....I've been told that I stick my fingers in too many pies which would explain why I'm short of time....I try not to spread myself too thin but life is short and there are so many things to learn/ so many people to share good times with. I will never snob emails but sometimes I let my myspace inbox get out of hand and I may not reply at all..........2008 will be a time of reflection and relaxing for me.. in fact it's my resolution.. "relax more." I love to give hugs like there going out of fashion but I save the real special ones for my close friends.....apparently I look like the dude from happy gilmore. i'm a good man and I like to take photos..... welcome to my life.BiographyElvis Di Fazio is one of those rare artists who can carry their vision across mediums. Very much informed by his academic background in fine arts, Di Fazio's work is about combining compositional precision and technical capability with a deep tenderness and understanding of human situations.
His emotive work both weaves stories and defies them, while showing how human subjects can be used as decorative objects.
Di Fazio's obvious talent has earned him spots in exhibitions nation-wide and the Opera House, the Chauvel and Museum of Sydney have all commissioned his work. Inspired by portraiture, cinema and historical photos, Di Fazio's work is nostalgic with a modernist twist.
"People always remind me of a character that I have seen before somewhere [but] at the end of the day it is a shot taken now, inspired by aesthetics from the past."Di Fazio is part of a new generation of people who are not inhibited by institutional hierarchies, boundaries and definitions that can often limit creative expression. Distinctions between art, photography, street and gallery are of little consequence. What matters to this growing group, who operate outside of the establishment, is connecting with people-having something to say, finding the most interesting way to say it and sharing it with others.

Blurring the lines between low and high brow, art house and amateur pornography, these films are a confronting, often humorous reflection of modern raunch-culture.
Di Fazio aims to be evocative; “I just want my films to make you feel... If they make you feel sad, happy, excited or repulsed I have done my job,†he says of his controversial works.Drawing on his background in fine arts, Di Fazio’s creative pieces are made not just to shock; they are imbued with an inherent aesthetic understanding that lends a sense of the exquisite to even the most unmentionable subjects.
