Lucky Lips are Heidi Nyheim, Malin Pettersen and Signe Marie Sørensen.
With their very talented musicians, they always provide for a lively atmosphere where they perform. This seven-piece band based in Oslo, Norway, have their sources of inspiration in artists and legends such as Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash, Ricky Skaggs, Bill Monroe and Dixie Chicks among others.Most of the well experienced band members of Lucky Lips have attended NISS in Oslo - The Nordic Institute of Stage and Sound, where most of them met. "Little sister" Malin are now attending LIPA - The Liverpool Institute For Performing Arts.Heidi Nyheim (vocal and mandolin), Malin Pettersen (vocal and guitar) and Signe Marie Sørensen (vocal and guitar) writes all of the original material performed by the band. All three were members of local schools/assosiations of music and art since they were little, and have been singing and playing instruments all their lives. They all grew up with the influences of different types of music, and find this very helpful in the process of writing new songs in the genre laying closest to their hearts.The tight harmonies, wide variety of musical influences and with such creative and musically diverse musicians, Lucky Lips brings youthful energy and sincereness to their live performances.
