Nykita, the "Liberian Princess" is a 20 year old singer, dancer, songwriter and
natural born performer. Writing and performing now for over five years, she is totally amazing to watch and hear onstage. With tantalizing dance moves from her cultural base of Liberia, Africa, she is as amazing a dancer as Shakira, while completely capable of co-existing vocally alongside the likes of Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Christina Aquilera and all the other top rated singers.
A prolific writer, Nykita has written songs with Keith Harris of the Black Eyed Peas and Raab - Backup singer for Justin Timberlake ("Need You Now" for submission to Fergie), Brian Hood ("Don't Go", "That Fiya" and "Fairy Tales"), and currently writing and recording in Atlanta with A.D., producer of several Billboard #1 Hits.
Nykita is currently performing around the Atlanta area. Her show is an electric blend of original music (all of which was written or co-written by Nykita) and a mix of covers by her favorite and most influencing stars such as Beyonce, Anita Baker, Jill Scott, India Arie, No Doubt, and Rihanna to name a few. Come to the show prepared to be awestruck at the level of artistry and maturity in her voice and show. Features are a live band, backup singers, and dancers.
All of the travels of this young woman throughout the world, (including growing up in Africa, the Ivory Coast and the U.S.), have instilled in her a diverse love for music and dance that will prove to be the unique, and refreshing component missing in the Soul/R&B/Pop genre. She is an extraordinary vocalist and performer.
