About Me

! The name’s Tim.
I’m a horrible bass player, a bush league cartoonist and growing writer. I’m always on the search for inspiration from any source. I have aspirations for publication when I compile enough work.
I have a dry, sick and sarcastic sense of humor and love to laugh. Life is just too short to bitch and complain.
I’ve been drunk enough to fight a ladder.
I don’t hate anyone, even if they deserve it. I don't want to kill you, but I just want to SHAKE THE SHIT out of you.
I view organized religion about the same way I view Elvis. It was a good idea in the beginning, but it ended up bloated and dead on the toilet. Now that isn't to say that I'm not a spiritual person on my own level, just don't push whatever you're having onto my plate.
No subject is taboo, and I’m game for anything. In fact, the stranger the subject the better the conversation.
I’m not gay, I just like yogurt.
I have come to the realization that I’m both a Marxist and a philosophical Taoist.
I’m either the biggest asshole you’ve ever met, or your best friend, and if you are lucky I will be both of them for you for the rest of your life.
I was told years ago, “Don’t be a bad guy, Noble. You don’t make a good one.” I’m still living by that today.
I’m not a homophobe, racist, sexist, pedophile, predatory stalker but I AM a 100% demented pervert with a heart of gold who would never hurt a fly. Not thinking like a predatory asshole makes me not realize that some of the things I say can be taken the wrong way, but I won’t wear kid gloves either. Take it or leave it.
Mexican beer keeps the green-banana nightmares at bay!

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

More writers.

Music:

I have been informed that I'm a music snob. I love music and listen to tons of it on a daily basis.

Movies:

Coen Brothers, Guillermo del Toro, Tim Burton, Quentin Tarantino, Stanley Kubrick, Terry Gilliam, Sam Peckinpah, David Cronenberg, Sergio Leone. I watch anything and everything even though I've been informed my taste can be somewhat snobish. I'm the dork that can tell you everything about Lon Chaney and how much I enjoy subtitles. I'm a total movie dork. Sorry.

Television:

Match Game, Venture Brothers, Family Guy, Twilight Zone, My Name is Earl, Two and A Half Men, Most Evil. Tons of crap about serial killers and other psychopaths. It's all story research. I promise.

Books:

Robert Bloch and Richard Matheson changed the way I look at writing and made me fall in love with the art of writing short stories (with no closure mind you). Cormac McCarthy showed me that there are absolutley NO boundries and you shouldn't hesitate or censor yourself. Daniel Wallace showed me the magic of American Southern storytelling. Other favorites are Thomas Harris (Red Dragon is a must for any reader), David Sedaris, Hollis Gillespie (I'm a stalker for that broad), Stephen King of course, and tons and tons of others.

Heroes:

Charles Nelson Riley, Paul Lynde, Leonidas, El Cid Campeador, Saigo Takamori, Giles Corey, Atticus Finch and Waldorf and Statler from the muppet show. God bless those crusty bastards.
