I enjoy watching anything that amazes me through it's ability to tell a compelling story in a unique and startling way. I love classic work in particular, though, like Don Quixote, Paradise Lost, The Divine Comedy, and the Odyssey. I also read a lot of plays and am especially fond of Tennessee Williams, Eugene O'Neill, Samuel Beckett and Master Shakespeare. I love comics/graphics novels: Moore, Clugston-Major, Hewlett & Martin, Willingham, Millionaire, Clowes, O'Malley, Van Meter. I dig magazines like The Week, Time Out Chicago, Chicago Magazine, American Theater, Bust and Venus. Currently reading: The Iliad, books on life in the Arkansas Penn as research for a play I'm writing.
