improv, burlesque, comic books, good bars, good conversation, a decent fist-fight every now and then.
the guy who's marrying my ex-wife.
I dig the classic Rat Pack stuff with Dino and Frankie, as well as Tony Bennett, Elvis, Bobby Darrin, and Nat King Cole. But I also love Punk. Hard, fast and loud. I love the Ramones, I love the Sex Pistols, but I'm really, really partial to Rancid and The Clash. I've been listening to "Clash On Broadway" like crazy lately. And I love me some Prince. All of it.I love a lot of music. I don't have time to list it all... Damn, back off!
I love a good horror film, I love a good comedy, I love a good romance, I love a good action film. Aw, who am I kidding? I love movies. Even the shitty ones. Except "Death to Smoochy"... that film sucked balls.
I live for "24", "Prison Bitch" er, I mean "Prison Break," "Big Love," "Deadwood", "The Sopranos," "House," "Smallville" and "Justice League Unlimited."
I just got done collecting (and reading) the entire "modern" run of Miracleman, which was a British comic-book character that was directly ripped off of Captain Marvel (who was ripped off of Superman), right down to saying a magic word (in this case, "Kimota!" which is atomic backwards) and being transfigured into the super-powered Miracleman (originally Marvelman). Alan Moore brought the character back in some of his darkest work, and then turned it over to Neil Gaiman, hot off the heels of his "Sandman" success. Gaiman finished out the run. Now the series is in limbo due to a copywrite war, so the series has been nearly impossible to find an collect at any decent sort of prices. But I did, and I have, and it's been some of the best reading I've done in a looooooooooong time.
