T-LITE

T-Lite has been in the underground music game since he was 10 years old, listening to pirate radio stations such as Sunrise 88.75 , Phantasy 98.0 (big up DJ Hype), Center Force 88.35 (big up Randall), Pulse FM 90.6 (big up Nicky Blackmarket), Green Apple, Weekend Rush 92.3 (big up Remarc, Fearless & Shabba D)& Kool FM (big up DJ Kane) which during their dayz of transmission played the most upfront underground House/Hardcore/Jungle etc (at which point he decided he didn't want to be a footballer anymore...CHELSEA CHELSEA!!!)At the age of 12 T-Lite had his first tast of mixing...and loved it it!!!!!!!! He then purchased his first set of decks at the age of 14 and has never looked back since.He was offered his first radio guest show on Touch Down 94.1 in 1992 He built his way up the ladder playing on various stations across London (too many to mention/remember), at which point he linked up with DJ Kane who introduced him to the click down at TOV (big up Mark & Clayton) where he became a TOV/Renegade Hardware tour DJ. Then in 1997 he was offered his very own radio show on Ruud Awakening 104.3 (big up Lady Sirus & Chillem) and from there his bookings spiralled across London and Europe.In 1998 he launched Slow Motion Recordings with Gambit (who we now know as part of AI) and DJ Snypa AKA Genesis. During this episode in the Slow Mo chapter T-Lite and his crew released 7 singles and 1 EP, alongside 4 singles on Reinforced (big big big big up 4hero).In 2000 T-Lite grabbed a residency at dekefx alongside gambit(A.I)playing weekly at the dogstar and monthly at the Mass brixton, The same year also led him joining the legendary Kool 94.6 (big up Eastman & DJ Kane to name but a few) alongside Slim D which sadly only lasted for a year due to T-Lite taking a break from the scene...but he is back now alongside Rob Blaze & Murkel Frank!!!!!!In 2006 T-Lite joined www.lifefm.co.uk where he holds a Friday 20:00-22:00 bi weekly show playing back 2 back with Rob Blaze along side MC Guffy & MC Frenzy. This led to a residency at the Sunday monthly Quake at Ealing Boulevard where they DJ alongside the likes of Hype, Frost, Nicky Blackmarket, Shy FX, G-Dub, Skibba, Shabba and many more with dates being confirmed all the time.
