About Me
I'm a 30 year old gal living in West London and I am a fully qualified driving instructor, so if you need any lessons, private message me and we can work something out in North/West London. My background of music started with acid house music (at the age of 12, i'd like to add) when me and my best friend at the time used to nick all her older brothers tapes. It then progressed onto oldskool hardcore (HARDCORE WILL NEVER DIE) of course, listening to Green Apple, Girls FM and the one and only DON FM!!!!!!!!!!! Once I was a little older (15) my flat mate and I started going out to Jungle raves, but sadly as the scene took a turn for the worse, we aborted that side of music (temporarily) and we went our seperate ways. I went to House music, going out to doo's such as Gism, Clockwork Orange & Divine @ Camden Palace (HOUSE IS A FEELIN) and then progressed onto oldskool garage dancing the nights away at Legends on a Thursday night and the Gass club on a Saturday, but only until I was tempted back to the drum & bass scene. My first doo back on the scene was AWOL at the Island Ilford, which turned out to be the last ever doo at that venue.I then decided that enough was enough and I wanted to put my dreams of actually being able to mix come true. So at the first opportunity I brought myself a set of decks. I had my first play out at The Best of British in 1999 and had got myself a little show on Life FM, when I met up with my trusty partner in crime Bandwydth, whom I used to knock around with back in our younger years of hanging around the park. She also had a set of decks, so we decided to become a duo. We started playing on a few other radio stations such as , Pyro, UK Rumble & D&B Worldwide and started getting a few plays out at various bars around London and couple of more bookings at BOB at Bagley's and The Rex. Bandwydth started working at SRD, where she met the lovely Danny who now runs FT - Traffic & BOTD with a few others and we slowly became part of their crew getting residencies at The Colloseum and Rhythm Factory. We have also started to make a name for ourselves abroad and are always playing at small credible nights in London. We have been quite lucky really as we don't have an agent, so thank you to everyone who has ever booked us and to anyone who hasn't yet, you're missing out!
