Future Thinkin.....Harmony Thru Music...Buy The Music, Support The Sound...
We, Cue-t & Bandwydth (a.k.a - Nola & Lesley), have been good friends for over 15 years.
Since our old school days we have progressed on to becoming Dj-ing partners together, taking it seriously over the past 7 years.
We both started as lovers for the music back in the days of Hardcore & Jungle, sneaking out to nights like Innersense @ Lazerdrome, Roller Express, Labyrinth, Paradise Club, Astoria / Orange & Voodoo Magic to get our musical fixes...
Individually we were both doing our own things whilst studying through college and working but still managed to be out every weekend taking in the jungle soundz that were being played across London.
We both bumped into each other again at a mutual friends birthday party in late 1999 & decided to try working together.
At the time Cue-T was working with the Best of British crew who were putting on some of the best raves in London. Bandwydth was working with Soundman(responsible for the jungle classic 'Greater Love' feat Elizabeth Troy) & MC Micro who was part of Rush Hour & Production House/Baby D.
After meeting up with eachother again, we both got chatting & realized we had similar goals & both wanted to take our mixing to the next level.
We had lots of positive feedback from people we both knew in the music scene & in 2000 we got ourselves a regular set on the internet radio station lifefm.co.uk. along with guest shows on Pyrotechnic radio. You can still catch us doing our monthly FT show on http://www.lifefm.co.uk - the first sunday of every month, where we will be found doing our guest show...Cue-t banging down the bouncy heavy b-lines & Bandwydth smoothing it out with the beaty rollers.
Since joining forces in Y2K we have both had regular sets at Best of British along side Shy FX, Hype, Nicky Blackmarket, Andy C, Swift & most of the industry DJ's, usually held at Bagleys, Stratford Rex, The Lighthouse & The Ocean. Bandwydth was also working at SRD where she met Danny Exile & became involved with Future Thinkin.
In 2002 we were asked to be the resident female DJ's of Future Thinkin (whos monthly night Traffic @ The Rhythm Factory has been hugely successful & nominated in Mixmag as the UK Best DnB Night).
We had the pleasure of playing at the legendary Photek Records night with Photek, Total Science, Doc Scott, Goldie & Addiction which was amazing for us both.
We then became involved with the second Future Thinkin night Beat of Drum where we were on rotation with Bella DJ & Miggz.
Between the 2 of us juggling our daytime careers and DJing we are both proud of how far we have aspired on our own merits.
More recentely (as well as Bandwydth becoming a mummy!) we have been taking the FT sounds to Europe - playing in Holland, Sardinia, Germany & Slovakia.
Keep your eyes peeled & your ears locked...
