Devil In A Lambskin Suit is the long awaited and beautifully-crafted full-length debut from Awake And Alert, considered one of Arizona’s best kept rock secrets, formed at the beginning of 2004 in Mesa. Prior to recording the twelve-track album with producer Bob Hoag (The Format, Limbeck, Dear And The Headlights), the group self-released 2005’s Weight which was named “Best Local Rock Release” of the year by Get Out Magazine. After an intensive songwriting and recording process during the early winter months of 2007, the band had finished their most accomplished work to date.
