The UK's first School of Rock in Totnes! A weekly rock workshop designed to be inspirational, life changing and fun for all ages. Emphasis on live performance with stage lighting, smoke machines and loud volumes! Learn rock classics with a band of like-minded rockers, young or old and discover the heavenly joys of jamming, spontaneous improvising, riff creating and solid song writing.
Guitar lessons are available. Special gift vouchers are also available now for either 5 or 10 sessions of guitar lessons or the Totnes School of Rock workshop.The rock school is a rock workshop set up by Terence Bevis, who fronts local Red Hot Chili Peppers tribute; Funky Munks, as a major stepping stone for anyone who plays an instrument, loves rock music and would love to be in a rock band!
Many of the students of Totnes School of Rock previously never played with
another musician in their lives, but now they are confident enough to bang
out a barrage of heavy and classic rock, ranging from the likes of Metallica, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rage Against the Machine, Nirvana, Audioslave, and right back to the glory days of Led Zeppelin, Cream, Deep Purple, Motorhead and the mighty Black Sabbath! They are now in the process of writing original music which is sounding rocking but cohesive!
