Here is a short FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section. Please read this BEFORE you message me. It may save us both some time. Thanks! and thanks to everyone who watches and enjoys the show! So many of you have written very thoughtful and positive things and since this profile was accidentally deleted a while back it's been hard to respond to everyone but I do apppreciate it and I try to write back when I can. Now that this FAQ section is back up hopefully this will answer alot of your questions. REMEMBER, I am a music fan just like all of you. I was lucky enough to land one of the coolest jobs in the world and I know the importance of the show and the importance of all the mediums that are out there that continue to give bands (like my own) a place to promote their music and have their message heard. I care about aggressive music of all genres and sub factions. Music has given me so much and it's my lifes blood so when I read a lot of these messages it does my heart good to see that people are being exposed to new music and different genres. That's how I got into a lot of rock, metal, death metal, grind, hardcore and punk. KEEP IN MIND. You won't always like EVERYTHING that's on the show, neither will I, but that doesn't mean that certain bands or styles of music does not deserve a chance to have their music out there. That's just life. When you go to a restaurant, you don't like EVERYTHING that's on the menu right? 1. JAMEY IS THIS REALLY YOU, WHY DON'T YOU HOST HEADBANGERS BALL ANYMORE?
Yes this is me and I'm writing a book that will cover the 4 year period of my involvement with Headbangers Ball this profile will serve as a place to get information on my book! My other "official" band and label profiles that I check occasionally are in my top friends so add them. These pages are run by myself and my web people but I do try and respond when I have time. For a while there wasn't an official website or forum for Headbangers Ball so I thought this would be a good way to get info out, clear up rumors and communicate with fans.
2. CAN I CO-HOST WITH YOU? CAN I WORK FOR HEADBANGERS BALL? If you can work it out yourself, GO FOR IT but that is not my decision. I just lucked out!
3. HOW CAN I GET MY BAND AND/OR VIDEO ON HEADBANGERS BALL? Most labels hire what you call a video promotion company to submit their video to MTV and MTV2. If you are signed your label should know the proper protocol. As for becoming a guest, you need to hire a publicist for that. If you are unsigned see the question below.
4. WHY ISN'T THERE A MESSAGE BOARD AND/OR SITE FOR HEADBANGERS BALL.? There is a site now at www.hbb.mtv2.com also check out www.headbangersblog.com
5. WHY ARE YOU ON MYSPACE? Because it's easier to update then my own website and it was a quick and easy way to communicate with people when there was no proper web stuff for Headbangers Ball.
6. CAN I SEND YOU A CD OF MY BAND?

8. WILL YOU PRODUCE MY ALBUM?
Depends, I have nothing else planned in 2008 production wise because I will be working on the HATEBREED DVD, LIVE ALBUM AND MY SOLO ALBUM. If you are signed and REALLY want me to produce, the proper channels need to be gone through. Most likely, your label will know who to contact.
9. WHEN WILL HATEBREED BE PLAYING MY CITY? WHEN IS YOUR NEW ALBUM COMING OUT?
It looks likely that we will be touring in May/June 08. Our new album will be coming out in early 09.
10. DO YOU HAVE ANY ADVICE FOR ME? HOW DO I START A BAND? HOW DO I GET SIGNED? HOW DO I FURTHER MY CAREER IN MUSIC? HOW DO I GET ON TV? These are all very good and valid questions and it would be hard for me to sum it up here. I guess each scenario is different. I may start an advice column for questions like this. I wrote one a while back when I was writing for Metal Hammer UK so maybe I will find that and post it up here.
