I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° °°°°°°°°°°°°°°°° At the cross-roads between civilizations and influences, ARDAG’s music is the perfect reflection of our multi-cultural world and its myriad possibilities. Ardag Basmadjian was born in Paris, France, and grew up between Europe and the U.S. He’s been singing and writing songs in various groups since he was eleven years-old. Of Armenian origin, French nationality and American influence (north and south), Ardag sings in English, Spanish, French and Armenian. The style he has created merges the different influences that form his musical background: Salsa, Latin and Caribbean music, as well as Urban Sounds and Progs mixed with Rock and Metal. The imprint of the oriental melodies of his childhood, his years of experience working with the most famous names of the Paris soul/rock scene and his love for screaming guitars form the basis of his unique, ambitious and powerful style. Ardag’s self-titled EP was released in 2003. He has given about 250 concerts throughout Europe with his previous groups during the last 10 years and is now working on his upcoming album, due to be out in 2019 ;)NOURRIR LES EPEES (Alimentando Espadas)Add to My Profile | More VideosApart from his personal 'salsa metalica' project, Ardag also works as a film composer. Ardag also has a side-project named The Blind Samurai together with Ed Ardan, with whom he’s worked on various TV shows as well as on the German-French feature film ‘Französisch für Anfänger’ by Christian Ditter.
