Pete Stanley-At the age of 23, Pete Stanley has already been producing music for around a decade, falling in love with dance music after buying his first ever CD, "Boss Drum" by The Shamen. Playing the piano with his grandma at an early age laid the creative seed which brought about his early producing attempts using a kareoke machine and a hi-fi, sampling and bootleging one song over another. In his early teens, Pete bought "Music" for his playstation and was hooked. He gradually built up his studio over the years, creating track after track, sharpening his production skills.Knapper -It was in the smokey cellar of Afflecks Palace where Mike Knapper fell for the joys of clubland. "North", one of Manchesters most banging clubs at the time, and birth place to many a dj career (Eddie Halliwell, Petrae Foy, Alex Kid) was a regular haunt, and it was here that Mike saw the power and control that a dj has over a crowd. With that in mind, Mike bought himself some decks, and honed his dj skills.The Beginning-Pete and Mike were brought together at the many clubnights and afterparties, and set about creating a sound. Their sound.Their first track "Twisted" gained them a well respected fan in dj Anne Savage, who played the track in most major sets, including Dance Valley (Holland) and Creamfields. This is to be Tempered Records first release, along with a driving remix by prolific german producer Arkus P.Pete also gained international success with his collaberations with Petrae Foy, "What is it?" and "1990 Revolution", the former of which was championed by Carl Cox who played it religiously. The tracks were signed to massive asian label Sino.
