What I listen to most these days is...The Rolling Stones, Sonic Youth, Iggy, Iggy and more Iggy, The Cramps, Stevie Nicks, Johnny Thunders, AC/DC, The Ramones, Revolting Cocks, Motorhead, The Replacements, Big Star, Peter Murphy and of course Bauhaus, Nick Cave, New York Dolls, the kinks, the pretty things, jesus and mary chain, the vaselines, echo and the bunnymen, 45 grave, the velvet underground, nico, jeffersonairplane, brian jonestown massacre, neil young, black rebel motercycle club, the stone roses, Dick Dale, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson, Billy Holiday, Mud honey, Green River, Monkeywrench,Joan Jett, Taj Mahal, PJ Harvey, Patti Smith, Lou Reed in general (luv em soo much had to say him twice), Tom Waits and on and on....I love rock (and music in general) in all in all its glorious personalities.
I like old movies the best. anything from the 30's to the 70's to be more specific.
Absolutely Fabulous and old BBC comedies. I also like the Old Mystery Theaters on PBS.
I'm a nerd, and read ALOT. Beat Lit is my favorite I’d have to say and have pretty much covered everything from Kesey, Kerouac, Ginsburg, and Leary but I really dig anything by Paulo Coelho, Kahlil Gibran and other existential classics as well. Eastern Philosophy, Psychology, Metaphysics as well as just plain old lit and cheap pulp fiction. Musician and artist bios, how to sex manuals for dummies (what?), actually just about any book for dummies and lots of art history mark my bookshelves. My list could go on for days, so ill just update this as I think of good stuff.
