Before setting foot on a stage, and without having to sell their souls to the devil, Crop Circle had a surprise runaway hit with the very first song they wrote, Mexican Cockfight. The band followed that up by performing their debut gig live on the Larry & Willy Show morning show (99.3 The Fox-Vancouver). Not to be confined to their hometown of Vancouver, Mexican Cockfight spread its wings & started causing a stir in places as far away as Cancun. Closer to home, the song exploded in Kelowna, going on to become the number one most requested song at Power 104 (summer 2004). This led to a great opportunity as Crop Circle was invited to perform at the Rock the Bluff festival and open up for ZZ Top! As the buzz was spreading, Crop Circle was hand-picked & invited to tour western Canada as part of Budweisers True Music program. Since then, the band has also shared the stage with artists such as Cheap Trick, Bif Naked, Lou Gramm, Swollen Members, The Black Halos, Gob & Todd Kerns. In 2005 the band enjoyed rapidly escalating success with its follow-up single, Lonely. In a display of longevity, the song received national airplay for over a year at various rock stations. Crop Circle has produced 2 demo EPs and to date have collectively sold over a thousand copies. This Vancouver band is all about friends playing the music they love and having a great time doing it! All the members in Crop Circle played in bands together during high-school so their roots run deep. Recently the band recorded its debut full length album "Come Inside" with producer Todd Kerns and plans are in the works for an early '07 release. The band has come clean and now confess to being responsible for the world's crop circle phenomenon...
