THE MATT.C STORY SO FAR...I am passionate about House Music and I love life. In 1990 I went and lived in Kirchberg Austria to teach snowboarding. I ended up doing six consecutive winter seasons there and in 1992 started DJing in Kirchberg’s top club ‘Andrea’s Tenne’. Each summer I did something different. The summer of 1991 I lived in London (& traveled all over Europe). In the summer of 1992 I worked on yachts in Antibes France (& sailed a boat across the Atlantic Ocean from the Caribbean back to France via the Bermuda Triangle). I spent the summers of 1993 & 1994 DJing in bars and clubs in Lagos Portugal and then lived in New Jersey for a while at the end of both summers. I worked in NYC as a designer while I was there. Then I came back to Australia and did a winter season at Falls Creek as the resident DJ at the 'Frying Pan Inn'. After my final season in Kirchberg in 1996 I returned to Australia and spent eight years living in Melbourne. During that time I held DJ residencies at most of Melbourne’s top clubs, played at some of Melbourne’s best parties and festivals around the turn of the century, and ran three top record shops including Central Station Records. I also had my own DJ mix show on KISS 90FM. In 2004 I bought my dog Buddy, sold my house in Melbourne and moved to the Gold Coast via Sydney. On the way through I met Cath & fell in love. Now we are married, living in Sydney together and have just had a baby girl Alexandra.
