Press Quotes
On Navigator:
"Navigator, is an epic production; a
dynamic excursion through dream-like realms that defy space and time."

"Navigator is Forma Tadre's full length debut,
and what a debut it is. The obvious references can be made between
his music and current giants of the industry: clearly he has been influenced
by such artists as Clock DVA, Project Pitchfork, Haujobb, and Dance or Die.
However, after carefully digging beneath the surface, one recognises that
his roots go much farther back: one can see updated aspects of electropop
giant Gary Numan, as well as stunningly modernistic soundscapes that build
upon the works of electronic pioneers such as Klaus Schulze, Tangerine Dream,
and Kraftwerk. Imagine industrial music being used to highlight the images
of filmmakers David Cronenberg, John Carpenter, Ridley Scott, and James
Cameron, filled with stellar images, futuristic majesty, and the coldness
of artificial intelligences; yet just as likely to express itself with the
warm rhythms and playful melodies of the human spirit."

On Automate 1.0 & 2.0
"A symphony from the floor of the world.
Tens of thousands of feet below the surface of the ocean, in the startling
cold and dark, these are the sounds. Deliberate and precise in structure,
"Automate" is a subtley absorbing expedition to the most alien of worlds.
Forma Tadre has constructed music for the abyss. Every component is placed
with intricate precision; tiny warblings, shadowy violins, percolations,
water drips and washes converge with electric hisses, sparse voices and
layer upon layer of submerged ambience. There is a majesty of depth in the
abstruseness, where attention is demanded, and then, like a Siren, the power
of the music drowns you. The balance of audio is striking; as purposeful
of the placement of sounds in the work. Which channel the sounds emerge
from is as important as how the notes and effects are assembled. Resonations
and instrumentation flicker back and forth; a violin creeps and back out
while telegraph chatterings communicate across the void. "Automate" is a
most engaging work, yet the lack of vocals (thus lyrics) and beat is regrettable,
as in a genre rife with terrible writers, vocalists and composers, Andreas
(the sole genius of Forma Tadre) excels at all three. His work with those
elements on Navigator was much adored, likewise his ability to mix beat
patterns with sound structures and vocals in flawless timing. Still, "Automate"
is a most exquisite overture."

[...]
can only be compared to the brilliance of
Philip Glass's "Music in 12 Parts", Gyorgy Ligeti's creepy "monolith"
music from 2001: A Space Odyssey, in which he scripted an entire choir to
sing off key to create a dissonant Armageddon. "Automate" is just as dark,
maybe more so, because it is crafted synthetically and make no mistake,
each sound implies the end of the world through subtlety. Each song is meticulously
crafted to perfection [...]
