1968 - Born July 26, 1968. (LEO)
1973 - Started playing piano
1976 - Joined school band and played the Tuba
1984 - Heart was broken
1987 - Bought first analog synth influenced by new wave artists
- Started overdub recordings with 2 tape decks
1988 - Acquired digital keyboard along with sequencing software for PC
- Played live for the first time on New Years Eve
1989 - Took the first class ever offered at Cabrillo College for electronic music production
1990 - Went to my first Come-Unity party and was hooked on the sound
1991 - Akai S1100 sampler took over my life
- Opened for Cause N Effect in San Francisco at The X.
- Joined 3rd Floor Productions on Polk St.(now Moulton Street Studios)
1992 - Aquatherium was hatched
- Remixed major label artists such as Dee-Lite and Depeche Mode
1993 - Colaborated with top San Francisco DJ’s and artists including Chris Lum
1994 - Moved to England with DJ Buck and Rasoul to make cutting edge music
1995 - Performed live at the legendary Ministry of Sound. Hacienda, and Back to Basics
1996 - Returned to the US and started producing album for Aquatherium
- Found love at first sight
1997 - 12" single for Discoacidfunk hit the stores and was licensed to many compilations
1998 - Moved back to the Bay Area to work on music for Sega Dreamcast
1999 - Pushed out many releases for Moody, The End, Guidance, and Leaf Recordings.
2000 - Moved to Hawaii and became a boom operator for E! Entertainment
- Resident DJ at The W in Honolulu, HI.
2002 - I’m back in the Bay Area...again!!!
2003 - Formed Memento Recordings for the new digital download age.
2004 - Learned new sequencing techniques and audio editing software.
2005 - Licensed ’Porn Star’ for the new Sopranos video game.
- Found MySpace.com and now a slave to it.
- Teamed up with Olivier Desmet of Amenti and produced ’Disco Dust’
2006 - Picked up where I left off. Making dirty beats for the wicked.
I can’t help it. I love making music that blinds the eye and cuts deep into the spine. It’s my drug and I am addicted. I don’t try to over sample my projects and I get into the equipment without getting lost on one particular thing.
