For the Old School Heads -
Nothing to crazy going on here except for work as usual, going to the gym, training in Krav Maga (Currently Level II) and the creative stint is back so I’m rock’n beats on occasion when I’m not trying to get caught up on some sleep. Ventura is turning out to be pretty nice and it has a slower smaller feel to it although it is only about 45 minutes north of downtown L.A. and it’s still one of southern California’s best kept secrets. The move so far has been the right choice for me with the benefits of the nice weather, quite mornings, smell of fresh ocean air, a promotion, being closer to family and an increased feeling of self accomplishment - I really can’t complain.
For the New School Heads –
Hey what up this is your boy big KENEKT aka Original Nasty! chill’n in the VTA. For real though my name is Kenny and I'm originally from San Diego and after 4 years of being up North I have just moved down here from San Francisco. I've been involved with telephony for almost 13 years and I do system engineering, installation, commissioning, troubleshooting and establish large data and fiber optic services for one of the world’s top Fortune 500 telecommunications companies.
It seems like I have been going around a big circle for the last 6 years, staying in San Diego, Vegas, Monterey, San Francisco and now Ventura of all places? I have had great opportunities from my work and for my personal life I've seen a lot of things and have made a lot of new and solid relationships while staying in Northern California.
My work has consumed me once again and I feel that I am getting closer to the top of my game. I have a great attention to detail and some like to call it OCD but hey what ever, just don't leave any water around my sink or put your hands on my walls and we'll be all good :)
I am currently studying for a stronger back round in tactical self defense, pushing my overall physical competencies and primarily training in an Israeli self defense system called Krav Maga at Moorpark, CA. Krav Maga . I would encourage anybody who wants to get in shape and learn a real life and real situation fighting technique to come down and take a free class because I need a training partner!
Some of the things I enjoy the most are hanging out with my friends, great conversation, road trips, djing, producing music, photography, graffiti, clothing marketing / design, skateboarding, architecture, hiking and mountain biking.
I would say my humor is a mixture of Dave Chappelle meets Dr. Frasier Crane crossed with a little David Spade meets Will Ferrell and all though I never made valedictorian in school I did make senior class clown...
