Dub Havana is New York-schooled Jazz and Latin percussionist Sandor Moss and MR.
VIGS (Ben Viguerie), San Francisco-based producer of L ockboxx whose other works with artists include house, electro, hip-hop, jazz, rock, soul and r&b, in additon to dub.Sandor and Ben share a love of African and Caribbean rhythms, having both spent significant time in field research and study in West Africa and Cuba. In Sandor's case, he had to dodge customs officials and government informers to study with Havana's old masters.Dub Havana weaves underground Cuban street dance beats with dubwise studio production to deliver a summer Havana street party vibe.
