I'm Ian Dee I've been making music since i was 14 and listened to Hip-Hop since I was 12 people like Cash Money and Marvelous, Eric B And Rakim, Kid and Play, Run DMC, BDP, Derek B Biz Markie, Beatnuts, huge People Under the Stairs fan, Quasimoto, Danger Mouse, Mr Lif, Edan and loads more to Numerous to Mention. picked up a guitar after my sister bought me "Are You Experienced" by Jimi Hendrix when i was sick with the flu, I started sampling using an Amiga 600 with the old school favourite Octamed Tracker.Quickly getting into Jazz (Wes, George Benson, Charlie Christian, Barney Kessell, Joe Pass, Howard Roberts, Pat Martino), Fusion ( Weather Report, Bob James, Jan Hammer ect ), Psych, Jazz/Rock ( Mahavishnu Orchestra, Return To Forever) and loads of other stuff.I Love everything from French Library records to stupid kids storys is in my collection hence the wax works...because wax works ! Current obsessions for me include The Soft Machine, Obscure Old School Random Rap and Back Door, Electronic Funk.Whilst i Dabble in DJing i consider myself one of the worst DJs in the world so watch out if you ever listen to one of his mad mixes, and prepare for the worst!
