Aside from an impressive resume of involvement on any number of records, including her own debut CD, entitled Mae Day, to be released in early 2007, she is a 27 year old singer, performer, song writer, host, model, and mother. “Mae Gee” was born on March 2nd, 1980 and raised by her mother in South Side Sacramento. For the majority of her childhood, she lived a fairly reclusive life, keeping her vibrant and infectious charisma hidden underneath the guise of being a respectful introvert. It wasn’t until age 15 that she began to reveal her stunning musical talent to the public. That year, she featured on her first album, which sold 70,000 units and was later re-released to sell 30,000 more. From 1996 on, she continued to feature on a wide variety of rap records. She continued to lend her voice to various rap records for Out of Bounds Entertainment as well as Paystyle Music. Mae finally decided to attack the music world on her own this year, stopping along the way to go on the “Lynch by Inch Tour” for Siccmade Muzic in 2003, which hit such major cities as Portland , Seattle , Kansas City, Tulsa , and Las Vegas . In a short period of time, she has performed all over Sacramento , and has been seen in venues such as Raley Field, The Stoney Inn, The Stockmarket, Ace’s Supper Club, and Depot Café. Appearing with the likes of Flo Real and Kevin Sandbloom. In 2004, Mae auditioned for American Idol and made the first cut to go to the MGM Grand. She was voted V101 and Downtown Ford's Sacramento Idol and Opened the Super Summer soul Jam for Moris Day and the time. as well as involving herself with a plethora of charities, including Children Fighting Cancer, MADD, and the World AIDS Day televised fund raiser at the Crest Theatre. She was nominated one of Saccultural hub's best singers nov 2007 and is in the magazine for Artist on the Move. Mae's Hit "Can't Let Go" has been nominated for the 7th Annual Independent Music Awards for Best song in the R&B category. Mae’s music is more than personal, it is her venting mechanism. Much of her childhood was characterized by hardship and struggle, and she was only 16 when she began to assume the role of mother to her nephew. Mae herself was diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease at the age of 19, and survived rigorous rehabilitation for several months thereafter. Not one to be a complainer, Mae simply refers to these difficult years as “paying my dues.” Currently, Mae works and sings both professionally and for personal pleasure. She is fluent in Cantonese and has high aspirations for her future in the music industry. She lives by the mantra “whatever happens, happens,” and only hopes that her music can transcend all sociological barriers to touch the people who have felt what she has. She is currently occupying herself with all kinds of projects, featuring and performing with artists such as Flo Real, E-moe, Terry Moore the Love Poet, and Mixxula. She also works with Figure8 films , L & L Ent, and 916groove.com as a host. She has also been recognized by and featured with the Outlaws of Comedy, whom invited her to perform at a variety of Children with Cancer fundraisers. Not one to limit herself to music, Mae continues to do abstract fusion modeling for Bill Payne and Magic Eye photography, and still remains a devoted woman to her family.Mae, In May ... http://www.wantickets.com/?req=event&e_id=22825luvmaegee @yahoo.com

For the people who really know me u know what sets me aside. LOL! It's been a long time I've been doing underground rap, but now it's time to show the world who Miss Mae Gee really is. Music My Gift from GOD, My outlet to the world, and I share with You.
Sounds Like: Whatever mood I'm in, and what the weathers like. There is something for everyone in this album to relate to. From old school to new. It could sound jazzy, sexy, hyfie, or pissed off. Music is my outlet to the world. Whether I'm feeling creative and beautiful, or venting. I use it to have conversations with myself, about any and everything I've experienced in my life. Can't write about something I don't know about. That's what separates the real from the fake. I Bet my life there will be at least one song on this album that everyone can relate to. 4 real
