Biography (Dutch):
Mindsupply is een geheel Brabantse metalband, opgericht door Joran (gitaar), Guido (drums) en Marijn (zang) in de herfst van 2005 te 's-Hertogenbosch. Hun geluid laat zich het beste beschrijven als metalcore met veel melodieuze invloeden. Het is deze combinatie die Mindsupply een eigen sound weet te geven.
In het begin was het voornamelijk zoeken naar de juiste line-up. Om een bredere sound met meer diepgang te creëren werd Pascal bij de band gevraagd als tweede gitarist. Er werden ondertussen ook twee bassisten versleten, maar uiteindelijk werd met Jaël de juiste man gevonden.
Na een flink aantal maanden elke week reperteren en experimenteren was het tijd om wat materiaal op te nemen. "Industry" was geboren. Deze provisorisch opgenomen demo werd medio oktober 2006 online vrijgegeven. Twee maanden later volgde het eerste optreden en nu is deze jonge band klaar om de rest van Nederland omver te blazen.
Biography (English):
Mindsupply is a Dutch metalband, founded by Joran (guitars), Guido (drums) and Marijn (vocals) in fall, 2005. Their sound can be best described as metalcore with a lot of melodic influences. It's this combination that gives Mindsupply their own, unique sound.
At first the band had some troubles getting the right line-up. To be able to create a broader sound, Pascal was asked to join the band as their second guitarist. Meanwhile two bass-players left the band, but finally Jaël joined and he completed our line-up as how it is up until now.
After many months of rehearsing and experimenting weekly, the time had come to record some songs. And so: "Industry" was born. This primitively recorded demo was released online in october 2006. Two months later Mindsupply had their first gig and now this young band is ready to blow the rest of Holland away.
