Musical studies: he had 5 years of classical piano and 3 years of classical singing. Also, he took a one year course of uillean pipes and séan-nós singing.Professionally: Nabil has been a member of different choirs and was Turbopop's synth player. To play his own music he worked with several guest musicians. He did a couple of acoustic gigs e.g. at Vleugel F, Leuven, Belgium, with the Orchestra Polyfonica Flamenca (which included recorder, clarinet, ...). Twice Nabil was asked to perform for a ‘Motor Blessing’ at the Sint-Pieterskerk in Jette, Brussels, Belgium. For the second ‘Motor Blessing’, Nabil formed a band with Jan Blieck (guitar), Gino Campenaerts (drums), a classical organist and a soprano. They performed some of Nabil's music aswell as ‘All Is Full Of Love’ (Björk) and ‘Born To Be Wild’ (Steppenwolf).2006 was an important year for many reasons. Firstly he wanted to focus on electronic music. Secondly for Nabil this music had to be played by the same band consisting of Gino (drums), Jan (guitar) and Frédéric Burniaux (bass). And thirdly he decided to release his first autoproduced single called "Jump Into The Crowd". He even made a video for this single (with cameraman Nicolas Monfort)In 2007 he has been one of the lead vocalist on one show of the Zappa Tribute Band "Captain Cheesebeard and the Seven Sisters of Prevention" He also started a new project called Poëzie = XTC, a poetry show on dance music. On February, 28, 29 and March, 1 and 2 2008 he will perform the role of the Pharaoh in Andrew Lloyd Webber's Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. A new single "Please Come Back" (produced by Eduardo Delvino) is to be expected around that time.
