The band started with guitarist Liam and drummer Jordan. They both knew the kind of sound they were aiming for with the band and both had heard vocalist Tim before and thought he would be a good addition to the band. They came together for the first practice and decided to finish the song 'Bloodlust', which Liam and Jordan had already written most of. Tim was so impressed, he left the band he was already in to create music more to his style and Thy Insanity was born. In the weeks that followed, the band practised a lot (almost 7 hours at a time) until they had found the sound they wanted and perfected it. There was still a missing element however, the band had only one guitarist and it was soon decided, that to keep the style going, a second guitarist would not be much use and so the band opted for finding a bassist instead.
Ok, time for a small update huh?:
We're writing new material for our new EP/album that'll hopefully be recorded in the summer.
We have quite alot of shows lined up on our gigs calender now, so we hope to see you at some this year, come say hi and have a great time basicaly!
At the end of the day, we enjoy what we do and we aint gona stop!
