Loud, powerful, emotional, melodious, yet rich in contrast: the music of 69 Chambers. Though it is difficult to place them under a single music category, the trio from Zurich find themselves somewhere in the middle region of metal and alternative rock. Where many bands make a claim for individuality, this seems to hit home with 69 Chambers: few are the rock-trios with a woman on guitar and vocals that don't lather their audience in candied pop, but blows them away with hard-hitting straightforward guitar rock.
It's with good reason that the band consists of only three members: the art of simplicity. With a minimum of instruments, 69 Chambers reaches a high level of intensity, creating driving music with catchy melodies by arranging and combining different style elements. Sonorous variation is a constant at the heart of the music, where tensions are built up and played out.
