The Poetry Corner I'm trying to translate in english the poems that I'd wrote during the years... It's not an easy job, first of all because my english is not very good and in secondary because it's not so simple to carry the emotions I'd putted on the paper on a foreign language. Well, time will tell if this is a war that I cannot win :D

My Last.fm Top Artist
I've lost my "rock verginity" in 1986, when the incredible The Final Countdown came out... Wow!!! The voice, the guitars, the drums, the bass, the keyboards... all on this album make me feel alive... So, my journey through rock was begun!!!
After that album, I've started an escalation through the heaviest part of rock, with Guns'n Roses and Skid Row, but the true breakthrough were Metallica's Kill'em all... 80's Thrash Metal was my very first metal love!!! Bands like Testament, Annihilator, Exodus and more others suddenly filled my ears... And hasn't left yet!!!
Through the years I've cross many genre infatuations:Thrash, Death, Heavy, Power, Melodic Death, Folk Metal and now I'm mad about Viking Metal... Maybe because I've always loved cold places (on my Honeymoon I've travelled across Norway, Sweden and Denmark :D ), or maybe because I've always loved the north mythology (Viking, yeah!), but from 2 years until now any kind of Viking Metal explode through my Hi-fi: Viking Folk, Viking Black, Viking Progressive with such a band like Vintersorg, Ensiferum, Amon Amarth (maybe musically they're nearest to Melodic Death, but they have the viking spirit inside :)), Tyr, Lumsk, Asmegin, Runic and many more...
Outside metal I love bands like Depeche Mode, Dire Straits, Francesco Guccini, Michael Jackson and too many others...
I can't live without music!!!

Movies:
I love movies, specially Horror Movies and Sci-fi Movies, but I also like genre like Thriller, Fantasy and Comedy. My wife share with me this passion (but not for the Horro Movies :D ) and often we're searching the web to find on what film we'd seen a certain actor...
My favourite actors/directors are: Johnny Deep (why he'd never won an oscar?!?!?!), Bruce Campbell ("Give me some sugar, baby"), Robin Williams (Carpe diem...), John Carpenter (Masters of Horror), Kurt Russel ("Snake Plissken: My name's Plissken"), Sam Raimi (Evil Dead forever!!).

Books What is life without a good book? Nothing...
I'm an eager reader, on a month I read about 5/6 books at least: my preferred genre is Horror and Fantasy, then Sci-fi and thriller.

J.R.R.Tolkien, H.P. Lovecraft, E.A. Poe, R.E. Howard, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Ray Bradbury, Stephen King, Valerio Evangelisti, Kurt Vonnegut, G.R.R. Martin, Giorgio Faletti, Isaac Asimov and Mikhail Bulgakov.

Alcohol I love to drink, especially beer... My preferred kind of beer is absolutely weissbeer (Oberdorfer) then I like beer coming from Belgian Abbey and the white ones...
Outside beer, I like Baileys' Whiskey Cream and Vodka Smirnoff, plus the unbelievable red wine Sangue di Giuda (Juda's Blood :D).
Unfortunately, some years ago I'd found that I had an hiatus hernia, that cause me sickness and sometimes vomit and so, my doctor had advised me not to exagerate with some kind of food and with the alcoholics... Very bad thing :|
Than, I'm limiting my alcohol consumption on the week end, with 4/5 pints...
