About Me

I was born and raised in New York City, “The Big Apple”, one of the largest cities in the world. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I’d end up living in the rolling hills of Kentucky and playing a Telecaster in a country band, but here I am, and loving it!_________________________________________________________ ____ Beatlemania struck me early on, and I’ve never been the same. My first guitar cost me $2, and I played it until it literally fell apart. My first band was with my brother Ken, who played drums, and a friend on bass guitar (ala the Van Halen brothers). I was now playing in style on a new $65 sunburst hollowbody Japanese import._____________________________________________________ ________I later went on to major on the saxophone, and I am an alumni of the world famous High School of Music & Art (Performing Arts) in Manhattan, New York City. This was one of the most fulfilling accomplishments and experiences of my life._______________________________________________________ ______Besides working as a studio musician and playing on many recordings, I was the lead guitarist of the highly acclaimed Diamond Roller – one of the most popular rock and roll bands in the Northeastern U.S., and later recorded and toured as the guitarist for Willie Colón, winner of 11 Grammy nominations and 15 gold and platinum records.____________________________________________________ _________I left the music industry back in 1987, and moved from Connecticut to the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area. In 2002, I started performing again, and have played guitar with the progressive band, “Groovoo”; also with Steve Earle; and with the widely popular country bands Kentucky Myle and Fowler Creek. I'm currently recording, but looking for a good band to work with._______________________________________________________ ______I am also one of the Moderators on the Dr Z-Talk forum. Come and visit us sometime. You'll find the nicest bunch of people from all around the world.
