RECORDINGS:
"I'm Through" - This is a song I wrote with Jason Wall recently. It's a simple work tape that I sang and played guitar on.
"Because of You" - I did acoustic, electric, and lead on these songs. They are both Angel on the Wall songs.
"Circus" - I played acoustic guitar on this album for Jason Fitz.
ABOUT ME:
Thanks for checking out the site! Here’s a bit of info about who I am and what I do...
It's probably somewhat of a cliche story of following a dream and heading out to Nashville... Ha! Anyways, I am from Greeley, Colorado. I had an interest in music at a pretty young age. My parents got me a keyboard when I was six, I was interested in the sax for a few years too, and then I got into guitar. I had some cool opportunities to start playing music in church. That gave me some good experience playing in front of people, while at the same time I remember spending a lot of time learning the parts to my favorite songs on the radio. A few years into playing guitar, I started taking lessons from a professor at the university in town. I also did a bit of local demo studio work around that same time. It was always a goal of mine to move to Nashville and play guitar for a big recording act.
I graduated from high school, and I left for Nashville to go to college at Belmont University (still taking classes).
I met some really talented people, and I am thankful for the fact that I was able to become good friends with many of them. Being surrounded by such great musicians, I found myself really motivated to keep working hard. It wasn’t too long before I started playing gigs around Nashville. During my first summer in town I played lead guitar and sang backup for Paul Scott. We toured around quite a few states, and we were also a house band at the Wildhorse Saloon in Nashville. I played with Roger Carter (bass), Brian Carter (drums), and Jason Fitz (fiddle) in that band, and we had some wonderful times.
In September of 2005 I was asked to audition to play with the group Lonestar. I went on tour with them for about a year and a half. I'm currently playing guitar and singing harmony for BNA artist Kellie Pickler. We're on Brad Paisley's tour this summer, and it's been a blast so far! Over the past few years I've had the opportunity to play around the country, perform on the Grand Ole Opry, appear on national television and play for the President of the United States. Thus far, it has been the experience of a lifetime. I am very thankful to be able to do it, and I thank God for such an opportunity.
